Our French visitors were interested in meeting the team that had planned and executed the new Wales Coast Path, having read our blog on the subject on May the 9th. So into Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor where lies the offices of the Countryside Council for Wales - only to find most of the staff out on strike! "How very French!" said Marion "We are all Europeans now!"
However, Huwel Manley and Jenny Crouch were on hand and stayed late to explain everything and our visitors were given some gifts to mark the opening of the path together with some maps to help them along their way.
